Prospect PC Policies

Information submitted to us or otherwise obtained is used for contact and billing purposes only.
We will not sell or otherwise disclose information obtained from customers or vendors to other parties for any reason beyond what is reasonably necessary to complete our obligations.
(for example: When mailing items, it becomes necessary to disclose address information to the carrier in order that it may reach it's destination.)
Prospect PC will comply with it's legal obligations regarding information disclosure to legally authorized entities. However, proper legal authority must be very well established to obtain information.

Data Policy

This policy applies unless specifically requested otherwise.
This policy covers magnetic media drives, optical disks, flash disks, and other storage mediums that contains a customer's data.
This policy covers discarded items, items that we purchase, and items that we trade for credit.
Our policy is to securely maintain the medium in it's original state for no less than 30 days, after which the storage medium will be wiped clean and or destroyed, depending upon the type of disk medium.
Hardware may be reused in-house for testing purposes but in no case will a customer's software or other files be used.

Website Policy

We try to maintain a web site that is not dependant upon any browser specific features or operating system features.
In order to accomplish this, we test our pages against the World Wide Web Consortium standards.
If you should find an error on one of our pages, please contact our webmaster and let them know.
Our website is not representative of the complexity that we can produce, but rather, the simplicity we prefer.

Email Policy

In the event of a "Newsletter" or other distribution letter, all services will be on a double opt-in basis.
We do not email executable attachments without explicit consent. If you receive an email with an unfamiliar attachment from us, and it is not expected, we would recommend that you delete it immediately and notify us.
We take spam, viruses, and other malware seriously, and do not tolerate them nor thier proliferation, whether they be incoming or outgoing.
